It’s safe to say Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton isn’t a fan of NFL referees.
During this Sunday’s postgame media scrum, Fulton made it clear that he wasn’t a fan of the officiating in Indianapolis. His frustration stems from a controversial penalty that took place in the fourth quarter.
“It’s hard when you’ve got to play against the refs and the receivers,” Fulton said.
Fulton felt as if he was shoved my Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce. The referees at the game, however, thought Fulton was guilty of pass interference.

Titans coach Mike Vrabel didn’t take the bait during his postgame press conference. In fact, he said his players need to be better.
“We told Kristian to challenge and do a job,” Vrabel said, via Pro Football Talk. “The double move is one thing. They double-moved him. We coached him. Even at halftime, we said, ‘If they double move you, make sure that you’re square.’ That’s how we can play it. The referee thought he slid over late. But we’ve just got to make sure we keep our eyes on our man and not in the backfield in man coverage.”
Fulton has struggled all season long. At this rate, it may be time for the Titans to make a change in the secondary.
