Keith has been the radio voice of the Titans for nearly three decades, spending 27 seasons in the position. Ironically, the announcement comes at a time when fans reminisce about the play that led to possibly his most famous call, “The Music City Miracle.” That game took place on January 8, 2000 and sits at the heart of Titans’ lore.

Keith will handle both football and basketball for the Volunteers, succeeding retiring Bob Kesling, who was the voice of the Vols for a quarter century.
Good for Mike Keith. https://t.co/T3Ch79tVkQ

The 57-year-old Keith, is a life-long fan of the Volunteers, who not only grew up a Vols fan, he graduated from the university. That connection to Knoxville made him the logical top choice for Vols athletic director Danny White and deputy athletic director Alicia Longworth, when they set out to replace Kesling.
2025 appears to be a year of change for the Titans, and while it will be hard to replace Mike Keith, I’m sure Titans fans will wish him well in all of his future endeavors with the Vols.
