SJD had a really good year for the Titans in 2024.
One of the spots that the Tennessee Titans actually have some depth is at defensive tackle. Ian Rapoport is reporting that they have re-signed defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day to a 1-year deal worth up to $7.5 million with $5 million guaranteed. SJD was a good find for the Titans when they signed him last March. He had 2.5 sacks in 2024.
Keeping the rotation with SJD, Jeffery Simmons, and T’Vondre Sweat is a big deal for the team. Again, with so many needs all over the roster, it is good to have a position where the team doesn’t have any worries. They have that on the interior defensive line with this deal.
The Titans still have some needs on the defensive side of the ball. They could use another inside linebacker, and there are reports that they are interested in Dre Greenlaw. Safety is another position they could use an impact player. They have reportedly been linked to Jevon Holland.
