No surprise here.
This week the Tennessee Titans unofficially threw in the towel on the 2024 season when they traded DeAndre Hopkins and Ernest Jones IV. Things have obviously not gone how they expected when they spent all of that money in free agency this offseason. They have started on another reset.
So, it is no surprise that only 31% of people are confident they are headed in the right direction:
The moves they made this week were smart. This season is lost. Get what you can from guys that aren’t going to help you when you are ready to make a run. Again, I’d be engaging in talks on any player not on a rookie deal. The only real pieces of value they have left are Jeffery Simmons and Harold Landry.
Ian Rapoport said that teams have gotten a hard no when asking if Simmons is available. That’s a mistake. If someone is willing to take on his contract, I would pull the trigger. He is not the player he is being paid to be.
