Could the Titans add an impact player at inside linebacker?
Josina Anderson is reporting that the Tennessee Titans are among the teams interested in former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw. He had 120+ tackles in both 2022 and 2023 but missed most of the 2024 season recovering from a torn Achilles. He was able to get back on the field for two games in December of last year.
The Titans could certainly use some help at inside linebacker. They have Kenneth Murray returning there, but they have a big hole opposite him. Luke Gifford saw quite a bit of run there last season, but they could certainly stand to upgrade from him.
As we have said all offseason long, there really aren’t many positions on either side of the ball where the Titans couldn’t use some help. While inside linebacker isn’t necessarily high on the list, there is still room for some improvement there.
Greenlaw was a 2019 5th-round pick by the 49ers. He will turn 28 in May.
