Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is in a very interesting position heading into the 2023 season. There’s no pressure on him to start, but with solid preseason play he could win the backup or even the starting job.
Unfortunately, the rookie from Kentucky is dealing with an injury that threatens to derail his first season.
According to Paul Kuharsky, Levis is dealing with a lower body injury. The news comes after Titans head coach Mike Vrabel announced that Levis had to leave practice early.
Levis has been competing with second-year quarterback Malik Willis for the backup job this preseason. In his preseason debut, he went 9-of-14 for 85 yards and an interception.
Only managed hockey report on Will Levis so far:
Injury is lower body. #Titans.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Will Levis in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft – one year after drafting Malik Willis in the third. Willis struggled in his rookie season and there have been calls for the Titans to release him after just one season.
With incumbent starter Ryan Tannehill likely heading into his final season with the Titans, the battle for the backup job could very well determine the Titans’ starter for the 2024 season.
Can Will Levis overcome this injury and win the backup job for the Titans?
