The Titans replace Will Levis in this latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft
It’s (un)officially mock draft season for the Tennessee Titans. Following Sunday’s embarrassing blowout defeat to the Buffalo Bills, the 1-5 Titans currently own the No. 4 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Only the New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, and Cleveland Browns are ahead of the Titans in the order, and that’s because they’ve played an extra game (1-6).
The Draft Network recently released their latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Staff writer Ryan Fowler has the Titans drafting Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe at No. 4 overall.
“The most talented dual-threat signal-caller in the country, Jalen Milroe can beat teams in a variety of ways,” Fowler wrote. “He has a highly intriguing floor for production due to his ability on the ground, with the arm to attack vertically. The Titans have weapons on the outside, as well as Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears in the backfield to remain creative in the ground game. Tennessee hired Brian Callahan for a reason, and Milroe would allow him to expand his playbook.”
Titans fans will probably be split on that decision. Milroe was riding high following a recent victory over the Georgia Bulldogs, but it’s all fallen apart since, with stunning losses to Vanderbilt and Tennessee. Milroe has thrown three touchdowns and five interceptions since defeating Georgia.
Milroe is a highly-effective dual-threat quarterback, but he clearly possesses flaws as a thrower. The Titans’ interest-level in Milroe will depend on how Ran Carthon and Brian Callahan (or the next regime?) feel about expanding their playbook.
Overall, Milroe has thrown for 1,722 yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions this season. He’s shown real progress under offensive-minded head coach Kalen DeBoer. The dual-threat Milroe has added 11 rushing touchdowns and 330 additional yards to his offensive totals.
It’s becoming increasingly clear the Titans will strongly consider moving on from Will Levis in the offseason. Carthon and Callahan could receive an opportunity to draft their quarterback of the future. Milroe would be in contention.
