A big move for the Titans on the offensive line.
[UPDATE – 2:17 PM] – Paul Kuharsky says the plan is to move Latham to right tackle.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Dan Moore, Jr. will sign with the Tennessee Titans. The deal is massive – 4 years for $82 million with $50 million guaranteed. Moore played left tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers, so this could point to JC Latham moving over to play right tackle. The money is huge, but it should be no surprise that the Titans are willing to possibly overpay to get that line squared away.
The buzz on ESPN when this was announced was that it means the Titans are going to keep the number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to take Cam Ward. In the words of Leo Corso, not so fast my friend. The Titans were going to have to upgrade their offensive lineman regardless of who will play quarterback for them this season. That was always priority one for this offseason.
The Titans shouldn’t be done adding on the offensive line. They still need to add a starter at right guard. Stay tuned.
