The Tennessee Titans added to their tight ends group in the 2022 NFL draft with the selection of Maryland’s Chigoziem Okonkwo in the fourth round (No. 169 overall).
The Titans entered the offseason with a big need at the position, which they addressed with the signing of Austin Hooper. However, Hooper, and Geoff Swaim, who is currently in line to be the No. 2 tight end, are only on one-year deals.
Okonkwo now becomes the Titans’ potential long-term solution at the position and will look to secure some kind of role in his first season.
