You taking that number?
The Tennessee Titans franchise hasn’t won a game on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers franchise since the early 1990s. Can they change that on Sunday? The odds are against it both literally and figuratively. The Titans are currently a 7.5-point underdog over at FanDuel Sportsbook. That seems like a pretty fair number.
One of the keys to watch here will be the Titans offensive line. They have played better of late, but the Chargers have a better pass rush than what they have faced the last few weeks. The left side of the offensive has been getting better each week. The big question now comes from the center to the right side. Center Lloyd Cushenberry is out for the year. Daniel Brunskill will play that spot if Dillon Radunz is healthy enough to return at right guard. If Radunz can’t go, they will most likely go with Brunskill at right guard and Corey Levin at center. Can that group hold up?
There is also the question about who will be playing quarterback. Brian Callahan seemed optimistic yesterday that Will Levis will be ready to go on Sunday. Of course, he sounded that way last week as well. Whether Levis plays or not will be determined by how the shoulder responds this week in practice.
They aren’t going to hold him out if he is ready to go, but this would be a pretty tough spot for him to jump back in – on the road with a beat-up offensive line.
