During the fourth quarter of last night’s Titans-Steelers game, Treylon Burks was seen motionless on the field after a rough landing near the sideline. It appeared his head slammed against the turf as he was trying to complete the process of a catch.
Burks, a former first-round pick, was eventually carted off the field. He gave the crowd in Pittsburgh a thumbs-up before heading into the tunnel.
On Friday morning, Al Butler provided an update on Burks. Thankfully, he’s alert and walking following last night’s events.
“Can confirm that Treylon Burks, who was alert and walking after the Titans’ loss to the Steelers, left the stadium on the team bus and did not require a trip to the hospital last night in Pittsburgh,” Butler said. “Positive developments for the Titans’ second-year wide receiver.”

This is great news for Burks, especially considering how scary last night’s scene was.
Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis told reporters it was tough watching Burks go down.
“It was tough. I mean, that’s scary,” Levis said. “That’s the scary part of this game.”
The Titans won’t return to action until Nov. 12 against the Buccaneers. It’s too early to determine if Burks will be cleared for that game.
