NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Titans took the field for the first time in full pads on Tuesday morning, taking the intensity at practice to another level.
A few players were able to stand out above the rest, like former Hillsboro star Matthew Jackson. The second-year safety intercepted Will Levis not once, but twice.

One of those instances was during a pick-six during in an 11-on-11 drill. Jackson had been given an opportunity to make some plays while Jamal Adams is being managed.
Head coach Brian Callahan told News 2 that he loves moments where guys truly fight for roster spots. He added that he’s been impressed by Jackson so far.
“He had a nice day,” Callahan said. “It’s good to see guys that are fighting for jobs and fighting for roster spots, taking advantage of opportunities. He’s one of those guys who’s trying to find a niche and find a role. The more production you have on the ball, the harder it is to ignore guys like that.”
Jackson was proud of his productive day, but understands there’s more work to be done.
