A lot of the same issues week in and week out.
Games are rarely won or lost because of bad calls. Today’s game wasn’t lost for the Tennessee Titans because of the referees, but they certainly did not help. The Minnesota Vikings got three touchdowns that came after very questionable calls against the Titans. In most cases, the Titans still had a chance to overcome after the penalty but could not.
Will Levis was better once again. There are still some issues in his game, including terrible awareness in the pocket, but he made some really good throws today. In the two games since he returned from injury, he looks like a guy that has a chance to develop into something. I still wouldn’t bet on him being great, but I have a glimmer of hope that I did not before he got hurt. He threw that pick at the end, but it’s hard to hold that one against him really.
The biggest problem with this offense is the offensive line. They have no idea how to line up. They have no idea how to block. The right side is an absolute dumpster fire. We were all really excited to see what Bill Callahan could do here. So far he hasn’t turned any of the players that were bad when he got here into good players. He’s a good coach who just doesn’t have much to work with.
