Sounds like there’s a chance Will Levis is ready to go this week.
Brian Callahan said today at his press conference that Will Levis will be on the practice field for the Tennessee Titans Wednesday practice. From there, it will be all about how he responds to throwing each day:
“We’ll try to get a feel for where he’s at after some rest, see how he feels throwing the ball, see how it looks,” Callahan said. “The more important part for Will right now is going to be not just today, but Thursday, Friday, days consecutive, throwing to see how that goes. If he’s feeling good and feeling up to it, we’ll ramp (his throwing) up and see where he’s at.”
We have seen these last two weeks that the offense actually doesn’t look that much better with Mason Rudolph under center. Now, I have basically zero hope at this point that Levis turns into the guy here, but they need to get all of the information they can on him at this point.
