By his own admission, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill was hit hard by the news that he was being benched in favor of rookie Will Levis. But Levis himself has said that there’s no iciness between them behind the scenes.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Levis praised Tannehill for keeping their relationship professional and continuing to show him the ins and outs of being a quarterback.
“He’s been really good throughout this whole process with keeping the relationship professional while at the same time helping me out how he can,” Levis said, via ESPN’s Turron Davenport. “It isn’t going to change our relationship, how we go forward.”
Levis is off to a great start to his young career so far. But his rise will almost ensure that this will be Tannehill’s last year with the Titans.

At 3-5 on the season, the Tennessee Titans are going to be hard-pressed to make any sort of push for the playoffs. That would make now the perfect time to fully analyze Will Levis and to a lesser extent Malik Willis to figure out if they’re worth building around next offseason.
Have we seen the last of Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee?
